Yellowtail Scad

The yellowtail scad, also known as the northern yellowtail scad, is a small marine fish found in the Indo-Pacific from east Africa to Hawaii, Japan, and Australia. It is the sole species in the genus Atule and is recognized by its well-developed adipose eyelid and finlet-like extensions on the dorsal and anal fins.
